Hi I'm Alex from the UK - I want to become a digital artist - so I am working hard practicing right now. Hopefully in 1 years time I will be good enough to get a job, watch this space! And I will try to update regularly, though to finish a painting takes a long time right now, maybe I will get faster lol.

    Welcome to DA.

    Check out ImagineFX, it has some great tutorials on digital and traditional painting. Think its published in the UK so its going to be cheaper for you than it is for me.

    Can give you a link to the website where you can post your work. Let me know if you are interested.

    Also check out ConceptArt.org, think thats the URL. Let me know if its wrong.

    You definitely want to be getting an account/membership at CgSociety/Cgtalk. Thats like the big site for pro artists.

    Hi, thanks for the welcome!

    Well actually DA is the last place I joined :) I already have accounts at the places you mentioned, and I've been reading IFX for a while, infact that's how I discovered digital art.

    By website where I can post my work, what do you mean exactly?

    Anyway, thanks, good to be here too, it's a bit more lively than my other sites :)
